Re: Palomar repeater silent

Hah! Glad to see I'm not the only one hampered by a "steep learning curve" with current technology. Thanks to an antenna upgrade, I do get Keller in Ramona so all is not lost. Good luck Erik!

Carveacre Gated/Closed

If you think my attitude toward traffic cops is bad, you don't even want to know my thoughts on forest "service", enviroMentalists, and other gatekeepers... And the "abuse" excuse doesn't hold water. If it did, we would ban cars because "some people" drink and drive. http://www.socalfjcruiserforums....

Re: So I was pulled over last night...

Sorry for digging up old posts, but I like your attitude John. When it comes down to it, it really is US against THEM, no matter how innocent you are. To some extent I understand that as they never know who or what is going to be behind the window and they are naturally on edge. But overall I think ...

Re: Salton Sea: Is it drying up?

I really don't care one way or another if it drys up. It was created accidentally and the efforts to divert increasingly scarce (in a God forsaken state that wants to de-industrialize and intentionally fails to build and maintain infrastructure...and is actually debating dam removal) water resources...

This page also mentions Ham Nation which is one of Leo Laportes (The Tech Guy) podcasts with Bob Heil, Gordon West, and other enthusiasts. Leo has a farm load of other interesting techy podcasts on his site (Google TWIT)

Re: 440 Band in Jeopardy

Regarding your comment about liberals: while "living" and "breathing" are used metaphorically, the constitution has been subject to change (check out the list of amendments next time you get the chance to read it), and so are all of the other documents you cited. The misconception is that this can ...
