Of course people still use CB. and dito on everything tom said about the clubs using CBs. yeah range is limited more limited on a CB due to power output but there are a few things you can do to squeeze some more range out of your CB radio. I was thinking maybe we can get a holf of the San Bernardino NF to see if we can do field day at squints ranch which is east of lake silverwood. it's up on a hill top has plenty of room up there.. i don't know what the land is used foe but it's worth a shot.
