I guess I was supposed to do this - NS6X intro

Hello to all. I met the group at the Mt. Pinos Campground during ARRL Field Day 2019 Saturday, making my rounds as my volunteer job of ARRL Santa Barbara Section Manager. I enjoyed my brief time with the group, operating Field Day, enjoying a bourbon tasting, wine, dinner and a dessert. What a pleasant group of people, brought together by ham radio and running trails. Will see you in Borrego in October, for the California QSO Party.

Thanks for giving this retired firefighter another recreation idea and activity. I am looking forward to the spring run in another fun and special area.

Hey John

Great to have you join us. Welcome to Outdoor Adventure USA.

We are still working on ironing out some wrinkles for Borrego Fest, so stay tuned. Also, take a listen to our nets. We cover a lot of great outdoor stuff and anyone can join us either through the internet (Echolink) or on the air (see a list of repeaters that carry our nets at the bottom of this page - viewtopic.php?f=174&t=3722 )
