Dave:

Spell check missed the difference between tire & tie, I have one tie rod and it is stock
I will call and see if I can pick up a couple more if you think we might need them
I also have recovery gear (no winch) but if we couldn't pull someone out we could always use the highlift
jack as a winch. Just takes longer to do what the winch can.

No need to buy another. I have the two that I took off when I replaced them with the Fab Tech units and I will bring them.

The most current trail log. Right click on the map and select, "view image", and it can be magnified to see greater detail.

Normally I bring an alternator, starter and front CV joints (Birfields) on trips. Plus tools and supplies to repair.

On a trip to the Parashant in Oct. '08, one of the Jeeps on the trip bent a tie rod.
