The Procomp A/Ts are quieter and tend to last longer on the highway, but are not as aggressive looking as the BFG A/T. Also, the dealer network is smaller (as you've noticed). The BFGs are better known, work very well, and are easier to find. So, while I personally feel the PC AT is a better performing tire on the street, and about equal off-road, and I'd love the business (Chazz Layne wrote: Would there be a considerable price difference with the ProComp ATs (one worth driving for, since no one local carries them)?

Now, if you want a more aggressive tire that works well on the highway, the ProComp Xtreme AT has no BFG equivalent, and is more expensive...so it boils down to what you want from the tire...
