Just got my certificate and ID card in the mail today - I'm now certified by the American Radio Relay League as an amateur radio Volunteer Examiner.

That puts OAUSA one step closer to being able to administer ham radio testing sessions on our own - and that will increase the opportunities for those seeking their licenses or license upgrades to test for them among familiar faces.... ;)

Well done!

Now we just need a couple more. How long did the process take?

You have to apply, and take a written test about procedural issues...open book with the info on-line...after I finished and sent in the forms / test, it took about 4-5 weeks to get the official nod...

To get the ball rolling, go to:

BECOME A VOLUNTEER EXAMINER
