There is a good chance we'll head down sometime on Thursday and camp along the way, probably in the mountains south of Blythe, so we aren't driving all day Friday. Anyone headed in the same direction is welcome to join us, of course.

Come on, you know you want to! Hope to see you there.brentbba wrote:I'm extremely reluctant to sign up for this event. Last year I did and it caused me to have a heart attack instead.Totally missed out on some neat mine exploration.

Sounds like fun to me....NotAMog wrote:I noticed that the Mogfest will be held at Truck Haven Hills the same weekend as BorregoFest. It's likely we'll be seeing some strange vehicles in the neighbourhood (other than the usual suspect).
If there is any interest I can look into arranging a joint run or at least a trip over there to check out the Unimogs, Pinzgauers, Haflingers, Syncros, and whatever else shows up.

Yes, we will be doing another mine run this year. I have obtained permission to see two additional mines and am working on one or two others. Details will follow soon.
