2010 BorregoFest Amateur Radio Testing Session
We have finally worked out the details for the Amateur radio testing that will be offered at Borrego Fest:
Date: Sunday, October 24, 2010
Time: 9:00 AM to Noon
Cost: $15.00
Levels: tests for all levels of Amateur Radio will be offered.
Location: Campground at Stage Coach Trails RV Resort, 7878 great Southern Overland Stage Route of 1849, Julian, CA 92036 (760) 765-3765
In order to effectively plan for this, we will need to get an idea of how many would like to participate. If you think you will be testing, please post here and we will add your name to the list.
Because we will be testing at the campsite, it will be necessary to review Hector's recommendations here: viewtopic.php?f=122&t=2184.
There is enough time to prepare to either get that first license or to upgrade. Follow Larry's suggestions below concerning either practice tests or information on how to improve your score.
If you are interested, please post here. Good luck!!!

Will there be enough time to take two exams if someone wants to upgrade from Technician to Extra?

There should be more than enough time, provided you can get them there as soon as we start.
