I've had the ICOM IC-T7H for 9 YEARS! It is a 2m/440mhz dual band radio with only one VFO. (but who needs more than that in a handheld anyways?) It's imple to use menus are easy and with a max output of 6W This little handheld has gone through more than any piece of radio equipment should ever have to go through!
Everything from your average hike to weekend adventures like hiking and 4wheeling to canoeing/camping down the colorado river & freezing cold in rain and intense snow blizzards and snowboarding in mammoth lakes. NOT ONE PROBLEM!!

The only complaint i have is the battery doesn't hold charge quite as well as it used to but it still does a good job.... but... it has been 9 years... so i can't gripe too much.
