2012 BorregoFest Amateur Radio Testing Session

We'll plan our annual BorregoFest and amateur radio testing here. Wheeling, camping, and eating in the desert.

I think I am going to have to put off the upgrade until next time, work has been busy and I am in no way prepared this time around.

I haven't even printed the materials yet for my Extra test, let alone started studying, but hopefully I should be able to make some time between now & Sunday morning for that.

Sorry, I won't be be able to take my Extra test on Sunday a.m., as I've been too busy with work & other higher priority activities to make time to study for my Extra test.

From the roster, it looks like 7 people are scheduled to take the Tech exam on Sunday though, so that sounds promising as far as adding some new hams to the OAUSA contingent.

Congratulations again to our test candidates, it is my pleasure to announce that your license grants (11/01/2012) have been posted on the FCC.gov website. You are now authorized to transmit on amateur frequencies.

Again congratulations and thank you for testing with Outdoor Adventure USA!
