Scratch me from the interested list. This wine happy group will understand if I say that we have a Dumol wine dinner Saturday evening to attend.

I'd be interested in attending. Probably my friend Joe McHugh as well. I'll likely be in my 17' travel trailer and he'll likely bring his Jeep.

Yes I'd like to attend.
When are we able to get the details do you think?

Any update on Borrego Fest?
Same campground?
What are we doing for food? Each providing our own or some sharing.
Any updated info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Phil

BORREGO FEST UPDATE
Thanks everyone for your patience. This has been a rough year, and the difficulty in deciding whether, or how, to do Borrego Fest has just added to the mania that 2020 has served up for our enjoyment. I think that we all need to get away, and a full monty Borrego Fest would be most welcome.
The mania of which I speak is the Wuhan virus, and the pain and misery that it has inflicted, seems to have filtered down to almost every aspect of our lives. If its not the government mandated behavior of which we are obligated to comply, it is the fear which has been instilled in the public that has made events like this so difficult.
As we have mentioned before, our events are so much more than just a camping opportunity. We believe that the social aspect of what we do is what makes these get-togethers so unique. Without this social component, it just is not a Borrego Fest, and for that reason, we will not be having an"official" Borrego Fest this year.
BUT, within the limits of the dictates that the rulers of the kingdom have mandated, there WILL be an event this year. Unfortunately, it will not be an officially sanctioned Borrego Fest of which we are so familiar. Gone will be the pot luck meals, the group wine tastings, the hot sauce tastings, the campfire gatherings, and similar activities, but, we will be together at the same place as last year. That is, of course, assuming that the Park service opens the campground.
I am informed that the Tamarisk Grove campground will open for reservations on the first of October. So, this year, you will need to make your own reservations. If you wish to coordinate with others for meals, drinks, etc, that will be your call. Otherwise, I assume that each person will be responsible for their own eats.
So, with the event as I have described it, who wants to go?
