Interesting... I can't get myself to buy an Ipad yet. I'm to engrained in PC.

i'm getting ready to mount mine in the truck with a bad elf unit. i've got the gaia app and it seems pretty solid but i'll take a look at the backpacker one. for $5, it looks like it's worth it.

Can you share your choice on the mount for your iPad?

I've been looking at the options and haven't found one I like.

I'm going to do it like this. I'll probably modify it just a bit with a mending bracket or something to try and strengthen the plastic. I won't always have it mounted in the truck and that makes it easy to take in and out.

I know Jon has a mounted ipad. hopefully he can provide his input on his mount and any opinion he may have on it.
