Tire Rack mounted fuel container

#1

Post by wb6twl » Thu Mar 29, 2012 1:20 am

Hey Folks,

I remember reading about a poly fuel container that is round (like a disc) held about 5 gal. and mounted over a spare tire on the rack. I can't remember where I read about it or who makes it. I think it was designed for a Jeep.

Any ideas??????

Thanks,

Steve

it is not round, but are you thinking of rotopax? http://www.rotopax.com/

Similar concept, but the one I saw was round-ish and mounted on a rear tire rack (a la Jeep) either under the tire or over it.

I think you are talking about the Daystar Cam Can...

They are just being released now, so they may take awhile before you can actually get your hands on one. We sell them - the complete kit (can and mount) is $129.95

Thanks for the info Larry. They look pretty good. I passed the info to my friend with the jeep. He likes them. I referred him to you.
