Snow in the Desert????????

#1

Normally one doesn't associate snow with the desert. The usual images are hot, arid and filled with cactus (usually cholla.) Well, it just isn't always so!

In connection with our net on cold weather camping, we decided to visit one of our favorite Mojave camping spots, about a month ago, not expecting to find things so white. We've seen snow in this desert before, but never so much. What a great chance to see another side of the desert.
