Great for electronics to include coax and DC power cable when you can't wait to get it off line.

For electronics projects in the Riverside area my go to is Electronic Warehouse: https://www.electronicswarehouse.net/

They have a retail store and another building directly adjacent that is surplus electronics where you can spend a lot of time just looking through all the different items you might need...someday. They also have an ebay site: http://stores.ebay.com/electronicswarehouseca/

KH Metals and Supply.jpg
If it is metal stock, they have a very good selection!

Klure and Harris or simply KH Metals & Supplies, right next door to EW is a great place to find metal pieces for your other projects. I have found pieces needed for various projects to include bolts and screws, angle iron, diamond plate and many other project materials here: http://www.khmetals.com/

Early Check-In

Please check in John, KN6VL and Bruce, KD6GCO.

If you happen to have an Alt-Az telescope mount that isn't doing anything durning the day, it can make a great solar tracker for a couple of moderate size solar panels. These 2 30 Watt panels along with 2 6v 45Ah AGM batteries wired in series were more than enough to power a CPAP machine and led tent lights for 5 days off the grid. The telescope mount draws a few 10s of milliamps but keeps the panels optimally oriented from dawn to dusk without any manual intervention.
