2009 BorregoFest Campsite
This year we will be setting up BorregoFest Central at Stagecoach Trails Campground. It is located just a few miles south of Scissors Crossing on the S-2. Scissors Crossing is where Highway 78 meets the S-2. This campground is closer to the majority of the trail heads we frequent and offers good accommodations. Sites have already been reserved at the campground, and the campground personnel are looking forward to having us stay there. Our group campsite includes a huge bonfire pit, a huge canopy to have the potluck and raffle under, and even a stage if we need it.
Accomodations include:
-Country Store
-Heated Pool
-Nature Trails for Hiking and Horseback Riding
-Full-time onsite Management
-Horseshoe Pits and Shuffleboard
-WIFI Available
-Quiet and Secluded
LOCATION:
STAGECOACH TRAILS Horse Camping, Family Camping
7878 Great Southern Overland Stage Route of 1849
Julian, CA 92036

Re: 2009 BorregoFest Campsite
so as far as the group site goes do we get to chose if we want to camp near someone...i.e. if we come with a few friends in different rigs?

Re: 2009 BorregoFest Campsite
I guess what I mean is after we make our payment do we need to say something like "sign me up for group site #xx with users a,b,c" or is it just show up the day of and figure things out. Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.OLLIE wrote:That's no problem at all.rider77 wrote:so as far as the group site goes do we get to chose if we want to camp near someone...i.e. if we come with a few friends in different rigs?

Re: 2009 BorregoFest Campsite
The camp sites we have reserved are actually full-size RV sites. We plan on putting three trucks per RV site and that will still leave enough room for their associated tents. If we start to get more rigs than we allotted for, I will reserve more sites. If you let me know by PM how many and who I can set something up. There will be a few pop-up tents so I will need to account for those anyway. Once we get a little closer I will post who is in what RV site by putting the site number next to your name on the "BorregoFest Roster" thread or post something up here. People will not be assigned a camp site until they are "CONFIRMED" though.rider77 wrote:I guess what I mean is after we make our payment do we need to say something like "sign me up for group site #xx with users a,b,c" or is it just show up the day of and figure things out. Do we have to pay to operate the showers (do we need to bring quarters?), or are they free
Thanks,
Lory
